Thermlock® multi-chamber thermal technology helps keep heating bills low, while deep internal bars create an ultra strong structure for spans up to 3.2 x 6m without tie bars. Ultra low line aesthetics give a stylish architectural appearance, enhanced with hardwearing powder coated aluminium inside and out. Security is also built into the heart of every S1 lantern, helping protect you and your home.

Secured by Design Upgrade Option

Sheerline's award-winning aluminium S1 roof lantern is one of the most secure roof lanterns in the UK and now comes with a Secured by Design (SBD) upgrade option. SBD is a police-backed initiative that identifies products that offer increased levels of security. This optional security upgrade adds an extra layer of defence ensuring that your S1 aluminium roof lantern is secure enough to withstand opportunist criminals, providing extra peace of mind. The optional upgrade adds additional security clamping plates, locking the SBD lantern's laminated glass panels in place, preventing them from being lifted and removed by would-be intruders* even if rafter top caps have been removed. These stainless steel components are held firmly in place by stainless steel security screws for added strength. This optional security upgrade is invisible on finished roofs and doesn't compromise the stylish contemporary design or thermal performance that Sheerline is known for. *Based on SBD's test criteria.

Features such as anti-tamper screws, enclosed anti-tamper glazing, security tape and our patent pending glass lock, alongside our unique high security ridge end, ensure there isn't an easy way to enter your property via your flat roof lantern. All of these innovative features combine to make Sheerline's S1 system the UK's most secure aluminium lantern*.

A laminate glass upgrade is also available for extra security if required. So if you are looking for a lantern that comes with extra peace of mind as standard - then we have you covered.

Completing this refined architectural appearance our corner and rafter end caps run perfectly in line with the perimeter of the lantern, so no unsightly angles jut out to spoil the perfect lines of this outstandingly beautiful high-performance aluminium lantern. With a wide range of styles
and sizes to suit every project

Sheerline aluminium roof lanterns are available in a choice of 10 styles from square 'pyramid' designs to grander options suitable for larger 'orangery' style installations. Maximum sizes range from 2.4 up to an impressive 6m long, all set at a 25° pitch and all weather rated for the whole of the UK*. Rated for a snow load of 1.2 KN/m2. Covering the whole of the UK up to 200m altitude.

LED lighting options

S1 lanterns also feature an integral LED light channel around the perimeter of the roof - giving you an easy way to add mood lighting and add the final touch of individuality to your interior.

NEW 3 way option

Adding three more styles to the S1 roof lantern, our new 3 Way option allows for bigger spans to be catered for without the need for jack rafters. All with the same sleek aesthetics as our existing 2 and 4 way designs.
